Regional Dental Auxiliary Coordinator (HPC/DN 5)

Requirements

• Certificate / Degree in Dental Nursing
• Degree in Health Services Management / Health Administration
• Minimum eight (8) years relevant experience
• Registration / Enrollment with Jamaica Dental Council

Responsibilities

• Supervise the dental auxiliary staff and coordinate the oral health programme within the region
• Collate and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual reports from the parishes and prepare reports for submission to the regional office and Ministry of Health & Wellness 
• Participate in oral health education/promotion programmes and in dental research projects to assess the effectiveness of preventive treatment and clinical educational programmes.
• Visit dental clinics to evaluate the services offered and make relevant recommendations.
• Give advice, to Regional Technical Director on programme development and matters related to Dental Auxiliary Services.
